#2 - In Studio with IAMSHOP

IAMSHOP is one of Korea’s longest running select shops, and something of an institution. Established by Sung Mook Jung in 2006, the store is known for its contemporary styling, brand variety and conceptual clarity. After taking the slow train south from Seoul to Suwon, I was happy to meet Sung Mook and discuss working together.

Our first shoot, Screen Time, featured Stan (@stanlishh) in clothing from N. Hoolywood, Our Legacy, Scye, Isabel Benenato, Unaffected and Auralee. I was encouraged to focus on shooting conceptually; thematically consistent ideas trumped a focus on clothing display. Prepared with 20 or so such ideas, I met the team at IAMSHOP’s second floor studio and got to work.
